A Game Design Project for New Arcade Class
FINDING ChillLand is a two-player collaborative game utilizing two real oars and electronics to simulate the experience of boating. The game is built in Unity 3D. To trigger the boat to move, we used an MPU-6050 GY-521 3-axis gyroscope and accelerometer module for each oar to determine players’ movements. We also have one button on the oar for each player. One is for cycling through the tools in the toolbox while the other is for selecting the pointed tool when encountering a barrier in the river.
